Quality Policy
The Quality Policy of European Natural Additives(ENA) is applied to cover the aspects related to the sanitary quality(safety) during the manufacture, storage and distribution of our products, for use as natural products defined in the certificate of registration of operators in the field of animal feed, according to Regulation 183/2005 on the hygiene requirements for animal feed.
It is developed in accordance with FAMI-QS Certification, as well as the contents of the document, “Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) System – General Guidelines for its Application” annexed to CAC/RCP 1-1969, Rev.4-2003 of the Codex Alimentarius and in conformity with the technical legal provisions in force.
Within this scope, document control and records, internal audits and follow-up of non-conformities are developed with the clear purpose of ensuring that the expected results are obtained. Within our control system, we include the implementation of quality through measures to improve processes, in order to avoid the recurrence of non-conformities.
ENA’s Quality Policy is a statement of commitments to ensure value creation and profitability through an interrelation of processes that guarantee that our products will always meet the requirements of our customers, the applicable legal requirements, as well as those of the FAMI-QS certification code. All this is aimed at providing the basis for ensuring a high level of protection of human health, animal health and welfare, the environment and the interests of users and consumers with respect to feed additives.
ENA’s policy is to offer its customers quality products that fully meet their needs in terms of product specifications, quality, safety and delivery times.
ENA is also committed to continuous improvement through the review of production and management processes.
To achieve this, ENA is based on the following principles:
- Assign responsibilities and tasks in order to ensure compliance with the specific objectives established from time to time.
- Document customer satisfaction through the effective implementation of the Quality Management System.
- To develop a participative management that enables the skills of the personnel to be used for the benefit of the organization. To apply an adequate and continuous training of the personnel, which facilitates the awareness of each individual of his contribution to the company.
Finally, the quality standard of ENA’s products is based on the following sections, which make it possible to offer the market quality and effective natural products:
- Use of natural plant extracts as the basis for the development of the final products, bibliographically contrasted for their efficacy and safety in animal feed.
- Suppliers at European level that offer security in the origin of raw materials.
- Standardization of extracts and final products to ensure efficacy and reproducibility of results at field level.
- Compliance with current legislation regarding the catalog of permitted additives for animal feed(EU Register of Feed Additives), which regulates the use of phytogenic extracts.
- Development of research projects in collaboration with public/private entities, as the basis of the R&D&I Department.
- ENA has a Feed Fraud and Feed Defense System, in accordance with the requirements established by the FAMIQS v.6.0 Standard. It consists of a system to prevent feed fraud, for example, in the purchase of raw materials used by ENA.
